I’m an assistant principal at Leverett Elementary in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Prior to becoming an assistant principal  I have taught at McDonald Country, Missouri and Dardanelle, Arkansas. I’m originally from Mountain View, Arkansas and have lived in Arkansas my entire life. I received my bachelors in health and physical education from Arkansas Tech University and received my masters in educational leadership at the University of Arkansas. I’m entering my sixth year in education and am looking forward to making the move into educational administration.

When I’m not working I enjoy many hobbies. I’m a HUGE sports fan; I enjoy watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, Minnesota Twins, and soccer. I’m also an avid runner and spend a large amount of my free timeI also spend a lot of time running and playing various other sports.

I’m also a big music fan. Some of my favorite bands include Lucero, The Hold Steady, The Black Keys, and Drive-by Truckers. I also really enjoy watching movies. A short list of my favorite movies include Stranger Than Fiction, Pulp Fiction, American History X, Cinderella Man, The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine, American Gangster,  and Fight Club.

As I stated before, I am very excited about making the move into administration and look forward to the challenge. I am a very passionate person and have always shown that passion towards my teaching and now I look forward to doing the same as an administrator.
